How does the page count words?
A run of letters or numbers is one word. A word with a hyphen or an apostrophe, such as well-known or don't, is one word. Chinese and Japanese words count too.
How does it count characters, sentences and paragraphs?
A character is one mark that you see, so an emoji is one character. Spaces count. A sentence ends with a period, a question mark or an exclamation mark. Each line with text is one paragraph.
How are reading time and keywords found?
Reading time uses 238 words a minute. Speaking time uses 183 words a minute. Keywords are the words you use most. The page skips common words such as the, and and of.
Does my text go to a server?
No. Your device does the work. The page does not save or send your text. Read more about privacy.
Is there a limit?
